GridKnock pulls verified interval usage data directly from the Texas deregulated grid infrastructure — the same source your utility uses to calculate your bill. Every reading is a real 15-minute interval captured from the home's meter, totaling over 35,000 data points per year. You can verify it yourself: the numbers match exactly what's on the homeowner's electric bill, down to the kilowatt-hour. No estimates. No averages. No guessing.

Data is accessed only for the purpose of generating an energy intelligence report at the request of a licensed sales representative. No credentials are stored, no accounts are linked, and data is never retained beyond report generation or shared with third parties.

About 60 seconds from the time you submit a request to when the PDF lands in your Discord channel. GridKnock's intelligence engine retrieves the verified usage data, processes it through the report engine, builds the full report including the door-to-kitchen-table script and objection playbook, and delivers it directly to your channel. On days when grid data infrastructure is in scheduled maintenance, reports queue automatically and deliver as soon as data is available.

GridKnock works on any address served by a Texas deregulated utility — CenterPoint (Houston), Oncor (DFW), AEP Texas, and TNMP. That covers the majority of Texas. Cooperative and municipal utility territories like Austin Energy and CPS Energy are not on the deregulated grid and are not supported.

Yes. Customer energy data is accessed solely to generate the report and is never sold, shared, or stored beyond report delivery. All reports are sent directly to the rep via email.

Monthly plans cancel anytime with no penalty — your access continues through the end of the billing period. Annual plans are non-refundable after the first 7 days but you keep full access through the end of your term. No contracts, no cancellation fees.

When the report generates, GridKnock analyzes the customer's usage profile and flags likely objections based on their data — high bill shock, night-heavy usage, grid reliability concerns, long-term cost exposure, and others. It then sends those flags to GridKnock's AI engine which writes 4 custom objection responses tailored to that specific homeowner. Every playbook is different because every customer's data is different. You get the exact words to say, not generic rebuttals.

You need the homeowner's name and service address — the same information you'd collect at the door before any sales conversation. GridKnock accesses interval data through the Texas deregulated grid infrastructure using publicly available meter identifiers. No passwords, account credentials, or private account information are requested from or about the homeowner at any point.

Some meters — typically newer construction or recently transferred accounts — haven't accumulated enough interval data yet, or the ESIID may not match the address on file. GridKnock will return a specific failure notice immediately so you're not left waiting. If you're stuck on an address, email support@gridknock.com with the address and we'll diagnose it manually.

GridKnock is built and optimized for single-family residential homes in the Texas deregulated market. Multi-tenant and commercial meters are structured differently — interval data availability varies and results may be incomplete. Stick to residential for the sharpest numbers at the kitchen table.

Not yet — CRM integration is on the roadmap for Growth and Enterprise tiers. Right now the report PDF delivers directly to your Discord channel and can be attached to any CRM record in seconds. Most reps just drag and drop. We'll announce integrations when they're ready inside the Discord.

You'll receive an immediate failure notice with the specific reason — wrong address, meter not found, REP mismatch, or insufficient data. No guessing, no dead waiting. The notice includes a checklist of exactly what to verify before rerunning. If the issue persists, contact support@gridknock.com and we'll resolve it within one business day.

Yes — and it's one of the most powerful use cases in the platform. You'll see the homeowner's real pre-solar baseline, their current consumption, and whether their existing system is actually sized for their usage. Most solar installs are undersized. GridKnock shows you the gap with real numbers, not estimates.

GridKnock runs on two fronts. The intelligence community — reports, leaderboards, objection playbooks, and live ERCOT grid intel — lives in Discord, which has a full mobile app on iOS and Android. The platform itself runs through gridknock.com, which you can install directly as a mobile app on your phone in about 10 seconds:

Growth and Enterprise plans include team management — each rep gets their own access and report channel, while team leaders get visibility into activity, report volume, and leaderboard standings across the entire team. You can add or remove reps, set access levels, and track who's actually running the platform vs. who's winging it on the door.

GridKnock works across all four Texas deregulated TDUs — CenterPoint (Houston area), Oncor (DFW and surrounding), AEP Texas (west and central Texas), and TNMP (parts of east and west Texas). It works regardless of which Retail Electric Provider the homeowner is currently with. If the home is in a deregulated territory, the data is available.

No. Customer energy data is retrieved at the time of report generation and used only to produce that specific report. Nothing is retained, stored in a database, or shared with third parties after delivery. Once the report lands in your channel, that's the end of the data lifecycle. We built it this way on purpose.

Nothing is charged until your trial ends — no surprise fees. On day 8, your card is billed for the plan you selected. You can cancel anytime before that with one click. If you forget, email support@gridknock.com within 24 hours of the charge and we'll refund it, no questions asked.
